Room booking and payments


When booking,  a non-refundable deposit of 50% is payable to secure the reservation. The remaining amount is payed upon arrival. We accept credit cards, bank transfer and UPI in rupees and foreign currency.

 

Immediately after booking, you will receive a receipt to your e-mail address.

Cancellation Policy:

(High Season Policy):

You can cancel your reservation with no charge up until 14 days prior to arrival day.

For any reservations canceled less than 14 days before arrival day, 50% of the total amount will be charged. 


(Peak Season Policy)

You can cancel your reservation with no charge up until 21 days prior to arrival day.

For any reservations canceled less than 21 days before arrival day, 50% of the total amount will be charged.


Room rates are based on one hut from 2pm to 11 pm the next day. Early arrival is chargeable as previous full day.

Max. of 2 adults & 1 child below age of 6, can share a room. We do not charge additional for double occupancy.


A minimum of 2 nights booking is accepted.


Foreign nationals are required to present their passport and a valid visa.

Indian nationals are required to present a valid Government Identification eg driving license, voter ID, PAN card etc.


Host of Yoga retreat

When hosting your yoga retreat at Lumuma, you bear the sole responsibility of health of students during your classes. Furthermore it is your responsibility to manage your students and promote your retreat.


Cancellations and refunds

The deposit once paid is non-refundable. It is your responsibility to ensure that you are fully insured against any unforeseen circumstances that prevent you from attending the retreat or that require you to leave it early. If not, Lumŭma Yoga is not liable for any inconvenience.


Unplanned changes from your side

If you need to move your yoga retreat date due to unavoidable reasons, it can be moved to another date. But, please note, that this facility is available only until 6 months from the original date of booking, and must meet our dates of availability.


To reschedule a Yoga retreat date, you must notify Lumŭma Yoga at least 1 month before the yoga retreat commencement date. Failure to do so can result in the total loss of your retreat fee, and you may be required to re-apply only after paying the deposit again.


Unplanned changes from our side

Although it is highly unlikely for us to change the venue or cancel a retreat or room booking once it has been confirmed, we cannot predict unforeseen circumstances such as natural calamities, endemics, and the likes. In these cases, we reserve the right to make last-minute changes as and when we deem fit. If a retreat is being canceled by Lumŭma Yoga, we will offer a 100% refund to you. 


Liability Release

Lumŭma Yoga or any of its staff does not bear responsibility for any loss, damage, injury, sickness or illness caused, medical or psychiatric conditions developed prior, during, or following the retreat.


Lumuma is not liable for any loss including but not limited to loss of personal property.

All yoga retreat participants are requested to sign a liability release form upon their arrival at the resort before beginning with the retreat. The form states that you are healthy and fit, both psychologically and physically, and is prepared for intensive practices that may lead to certain emotional and physical issues. Without signing the liability release form, you will not be allowed to begin the retreat.

Conduct And Behaviour

Lumŭma Yoga reserves all rights to evict any persons if not complying with our rules and regulations or disturbing the peace. Including the right to dismiss or terminate a person or ask them to leave the premises immediately, if they defy any of the above-mentioned terms and conditions, proves physically harmful to themselves and/or those around them, is found to be mentally or physically unfit to continue with a yoga retreat, or indulges in any disruptive activity that may hamper the reputation of the company as well as the safety of others.

 

Retreat Program Modification

Lumŭma Yoga reserves the right to alter the yoga retreat program and to select staff from a pool of qualified teachers depending upon availability per training.
