CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS

Room Bookings

Deposit & insurance

The 50% deposit is non-refundable. It is your responsibility to ensure that you are fully insured against any unforeseen circumstances that prevent you from attending or require you to leave early. Lumŭma Yoga is not liable for any resulting inconvenience.

Rescheduling room bookings

If you need to move your booking date for unavoidable reasons, it may be moved to another date within 12 months of the original booking date, subject to availability and any applicable cost difference.

To reschedule a room booking, please notify Lumŭma Yoga at least one month before the commencement date. If less notice is given, the deposit may be forfeited in full and a new deposit may be required to make a new booking.

Host of Yoga Retreat & Group Bookings

Bookings of 6 or more cottages for retreat hosting follow the terms below, in addition to the general deposit and payment terms above. Because a retreat booking reserves a significant part of Lumuma and requires advance planning across accommodation, the yoga shala, kitchen and team, we ask for a little more notice for any date change.

• 60+ days before commencement: Dates may be rescheduled at no additional cost, subject to availability.

• Fewer than 60 days before commencement: The deposit is forfeited in full; a new deposit is required to rebook.

• If the final group size changes: The deposit already paid is retained as-is. The remaining balance due on arrival is recalculated based on the confirmed number of cottages.

Unplanned changes from our side

Although it is highly unlikely for us to change the venue or cancel a confirmed booking, unforeseen circumstances such as natural calamities or epidemics may arise. In these cases, Lumŭma Yoga reserves the right to make last-minute changes, for example moving the booking to a future date.

LIABILITY RELEASE & CONDUCT

Lumŭma Yoga is not liable for loss of personal property, injuries, sickness, or medical or psychiatric conditions. All retreat participants must sign a physical and psychological liability release form upon arrival.

Lumŭma Yoga reserves the right to ask any person to leave who does not comply with regulations, disturbs the peace, or is deemed unfit or disruptive.
